Our Hill Tribe Silver journey began with a 17 hour flight from NY to Bangkok, Thailand. After visiting as many sites as possible (absorbing the enchanting culture), we headed north to the mountainous city of Chiang Mai to visit local villages where handcrafted silver beads and pendants are made. Time has stood still in these villages!
Each bead, pendant and toggle is handmade by the Karen Hill Tribe people using traditional ancient methods passed down for generations. Their kind and gentle spirit makes their silver extra special. Each piece is individually crafted; therefore, the designs and weights will vary slightly reflecting its unique nature. The silver content of each piece ranges from 95%-99% as compared to sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure.

Wholesale Policy & Shipping
It's very easy to receive a wholesale discount at Hill Tribe Silver Imports!  The minimum purchase is $200.00. You will get a 10% discount on the check out page.  Simply put the code 200-AND-ABOVE in the promo box and the deduction will be made before check out. On orders above $300.00, you will receive a 15% discount with promo code 300-AND-ABOVE.
All orders under $30.00 ship for $3.50 via USPS First Class Shipping.  As always, we ship orders above $30.00 FREE by USPS First Class Shipping!
Our return policy lasts for 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.  To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If you purchased bead strands, they must be in their original form. Items must also be in the original packaging.  To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 days. Special or custom orders are non-refundable.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received your refund, first check your bank account.  Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.  There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.  If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at with all contact information. All returns and exchanges should be sent to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
